Some of my thoughts around the “Pay What You Can” offer that I am extending:

First, I am aware that this creates a bit of a conundrum for you if you are considering this offer. I experienced the same thing when I went for my first reflexology session. The practitioner requested a donation - without any guidance as to how much was needed or appropriate. In the waiting room I asked another client how much they donated and used their response to guide me - this was before there were any personal services - massage, reiki, etc. available, so, I had no idea of what was appropriate. His suggestion was welcomed by the practitioner as the going rate - and I felt relieved as I paid!

So, I do not want anyone to feel uncomfortable with their decision of how much to pay. Here are some of my considerations to assist you:

1). I do not want anyone who genuinely feels that my training will be beneficial to them to not be able to attend for financial reasons.

2). Yes, I have financial needs and appreciate the payments that I receive as support for me to continue providing the training.

3). When I teach this training online it does not cost me anymore to have additional people in attendance. In fact, with more people attending there is a richer experience for everyone - so, your attendance in itself is of value.

4). I do expect everyone who attends the course, regardless of how much they pay, to commit to learning and practicing what they learn - to being committed to their learning. This means practicing the tools provided between the weekly classes (20 minutes daily) - much like practicing your reflexology techniques when you are learning reflexology.

5). Knowing of your success when you utilize what you learn in the course is a reward for me. It supports one of my personal objectives: to support the development of the field of professional reflexology practice.

6). You are very welcome to pay what you can in instalments - let me know if you want to do this and we can set up a mutually agreed arrangement.

7). Last, what you pay is completely confidential - between you and me. No-one else will be privy to that information.

So, given that you are committed to attend the course and its learning opportunity, I leave you with the task of deciding how and how much - over and above the initial $100.00 registration fee - you can afford to pay.
