Indian Head Massage is a flowing sequence of non-invasive, relaxing, dynamic and rythmic movements that evolved from an ancient healing system and rich tradition of family grooming in the Indian sub-continent.
A full Indian Head Massage treatment can take up to an hour and focuses on areas of the body that are most vulnerable to stress and tension: the upper back and shoulders, upper arms, neck, head, face and ears.
The effects of Indian Head Massage are both immediate and cumulative. It provides a respite from our busy lifestyles and encourages us to feel more relaxed, balanced, revitalized and focused.
Indian Head Massage is ideal for augmenting and complementing many other modalities, professions and interests including but not limited to reflexology, acupressure, shiatsu, hairstyling, aesthetics, massage therapy, aromatherapy, reiki and body/energy work.
Susan Allen, your instructor, was awarded the Kent Centre of Indian Champissage (Head Massage) Diploma (UK) in 2002. Since then her practice has continued to evolve by combining a diverse range of experiences with ongoing personal development and bodywork studies.
It has been a natural progression for Susan to share her enthusiasm in Indian Head Massage as a course instructor by drawing on her seven years experience of working as a Training Officer in England.
