A number of aestheticians have attended our reflexology courses over the years. This is not surprising, as reflexology complements aesthetic services very naturally and can bring an additional holistic dimension to the aesthetic experience.

REFLEXOLOGY FOR AESTHETICIANS

Reflexology provides an opportunity to help clients relax, release stress and tension, and settle into a deeper state of relaxation. When a person feels relaxed and comfortable, they are often more able to let go, open up, and simply enjoy the experience of being cared for.

There are two particularly natural ways to incorporate reflexology into an aesthetic practice:

1. Integrate reflexology into your existing services

Reflexology techniques can be incorporated naturally into pedicures, manicures, and facials:

  • Foot reflexology with a pedicure

  • Hand reflexology with a manicure

  • Ear reflexology with a facial

Adding reflexology can transform an already enjoyable aesthetic service into a deeply relaxing and memorable experience—something your clients may come to particularly value and look forward to.

2. Offer reflexology as an additional service

You can also offer professional reflexology sessions as a stand alone service on your menu.

This gives your clients another reason to visit your practice and provides an opportunity to introduce reflexology to people who may not otherwise seek it out.

It can also help distinguish your practice by offering something beyond conventional aesthetic services.

Reflexology and aesthetics—a natural combination

Whether you choose to integrate reflexology into your existing treatments or offer it as a separate service, reflexology can add a meaningful holistic dimension to the experience you provide your clients.
